Enchanting Second Anniversary of Intellect Image

The second anniversary celebrations of Intellect Image was held on 24th of March Friday 2006 at 4.30 pm Local Time at Main Hall, Al Irfan Vidyalaya, Pottuvil. The team members were very eagerness in making the anniversary celebrations an entire success.

We had Mr. M.L.M.A. Cader, Divisional Director of Education, Pottuvil as the chief guest of our celebrations. And also, we had Mr. H.M. Anoordeen, Teacher as the guest of Image.

Winners and participants at Creative writing Challenge, which was conducted to mark the second anniversary of Intellect Image and their parents were participated in the anniversary celebrations. We also, had principals from several schools of Pottuvil among invitees as special guest.

All guests, students, their parents and invitees welcome by our members. Around 4.35 pm the celebration gathering is marked the first move by giving agenda to the invitees. After every one have enough time to involved in religious observance.

Certificate and Monuments were given to the winners and participants at Creative writing Challenge and Monuments were distributed to among Teachers in-charge and their school for their courage in making students to take part in Creative writing competition.

Mr. M.L.M.A. Cader, Divisional Director of Education, Pottuvil – Chief guest of second anniversary celebrations said:

“I feeling this occasion is been conducting in BMICH, because the atmosphere is very similar to grand functions held in Colombo. I am very impressed by the motivations and thinking of members of the Intellect Image team. Specifically, their invitation, badge, prizes, souvenir, functions organizing and behaviours are differ from any other gathering and people. It’s have a value beyond imagination. I think, I have found the team to enrich the educational issues in Pottuvil division. I hope to do more education related activities with this team in future. And also, I wish this team for their pleasant future achievements.”

Mr. H.M. Anoordeen, Teacher – Guest of Image on his speech, he hails the activities of Intellect Image and say his wishes to all members. And also, he remembered the motivations of members shown in their school days. And “I am proud my self to be the teacher for this achievable young boys” he said.

Mr. M.L.M. Farook, Principal, Al Aqsha Vidyalaya, Pottuvil – made an address on behalf of the principals. In his speech, he congratulate the activities that been done by Intellect Image. And say his wishes to the team. Also, he made a request to all principals to support for this team to achieve their goals for making people and pupils with updated knowledge.

Intellect Image is got several units to implementing projects. These units are dividing the tasks and double the success of projects and also, these enable us to handle everything on an optimistic manner. The units of Intellect Image as follow;

Promote knowledge on educational issues among community members, in order to produce innovative ideas.
02. Shramadhana & Development UnitDeveloping the infra structures in order the enable people day to day activities.
03. Sports & Field Activities Unit
Make arrangements for the upliftment the skills of people in sports activities.
04. Youth Relation & Media UnitDisseminate projects information and important facts on various issues that thore helpful for community members to the audience.
05. Information & Communication Technology Unit
(ICT unit)
Increasing knowledge on ICT among community members in order to decrease gap of “digital divide”
06. Guidance and Advisory Unit.Give awareness on career plans and self- esteem to the community members in order to enrich their skills to face future challenges.
07. Research and Evaluation unit
Research and evaluate the projects and also, implementing researches to over come problems which are facing by community members.

Entire success at Essay competition

The essay competition is organized by the education and training unit of Intellect Image to mark the second anniversary of Intellect Image. On 28th of January 2006 at 09.30 am at Pottuvil Minarul Uloom Vidyalaya hosted the essay competition. Students from four schools being take part in this creative challenge. From junior division 17 (seventeen) students and from senior division 09 (nine) students participated.
We are expressing our sincere and heartfelt thanks to the teachers and principals from the schools, which have rendered a great enthusiasm in making students to take part in this creative challenge. Let us to say the four schools that responded to our invitation in a valuable manner.

ESSAY COMPETITION AMONG SCHOOL STUDENTS TO MARK THE SECOND ANNIVERSARY OF INTELLECT IMAGE.

In order to promote the imagination and creativity of students, we are intending to have an essay competition among school students. The winners will get valuable prizes on the grand ceremony to mark the second anniversary of Intellect Image which is scheduled to be held on 24th of March 2006. This essay competition is conduct by the Education & Training Unit of Intellect Image. The details of the essay competition are send by mail to respective schools. Application closing date is 2006.01.25. We expecting all the schools will be have their support to take part their student in this creative challenge. The Essay Competition is will be held on 28th of January 2006 at AK/ Pottuvil Minarul Uloom Vidyalaya, Pottuvil at 09.00 am.
The results of the competition will be published on our weblog soon after the competition. Also, the prizes and the venue for the grand ceremony will be notified.

ICT Classes for Intellect Image Members

From the July monthly meeting a decision been taken by all members that to update each and every members ICT knowledge. In order to achieve this target, ICT classes organised for members of Intellect Image. The Classes were started on 2005.07.27 at The temporary office, which is situated in Second division, Pottuvil. This classes were organised by the Information & Communication Unit of Intellect Image. It is revealed most of the members are more keen in knowing latest technological update of ICT. Intellect Image have no own computer. The practical classes were held with a computer that owned by one of our team member. ICT Unit expecting well wisher to fullfil the needs that to enhance the ICT knowledge among members. ICT Unit of Intellect Image have vision to extend the ICT knowledge among students, but this idea is not been activated because lack of resources. Prototype examination for Grade five students

TheThe name of Schools that participated in Grade Five Scholarship Prototype examinations 2005, which was held on 13th of July 2005 are follows;

2. AK/Pottuvil Al Bahriya Vidyalaya, Pottuvil.
3. AK/Pottuvil Al Kalam Vidyalaya, Pottuvil.
4. AK/Pottuvil Al Aqsha Vidyalaya, Pottuvil.
5. AK/Pottuvil Al Ashraff Vidyalaya, Pottuvil.
6. AK/Pottuvil Al Hithaya Vidyalaya, Pottuvil.
Examinations Unit is a co-unit of Education and Training Unit of Intellect Image. The Unit have decided exactly 109 marks as the Cut-off marks for Grade Five Scholarship Examination of Intellect Image.
Top scorer of this prototype exam is from AK/Pottuvil Al Aqsha Vidyalaya, Pottuvil. The students got marks of 150 out of 200 marks.
Two hundred students have been take part in this protype examination from Six Schools situated in Pottuvil.

Organize competition among the students of the schools to enhance the skills of writing, playing & Information Communication Technology(ICT).

To collect, print, classify, publish and distribute Books, Magazine, Journals and other publication.
To promote encourage for the conservation of the environment, disaster relief, poverty alleviation, rehabilitation, protection of wild lives, animal welfare and the protection of flora and encourage eco-friendly livelihood.

To organize and conduct seminars, workshops for the advancement and development of skills and knowledge.

To setup and maintain pre-school conducted with the premises with the dual purposes or providing an opportunity to the aged in interaction with them.
